FAQ

  • What is the difference between tarot, oracle, and runestones?
Tarot are asking a question of the universe, and hopefully receiving an answer. They are usually more 'structured', with a series of set interpretations for each card that may differ slightly from deck to deck. Each deck should have 78 cards to it. Oracle cards are asking a question of the "oracles", and are less structured than the Tarot, though often with more room for interpretations. There is no specific number of cards to each deck, and may vary heavily from deck to deck. Runestones are not so much a form of fortune-telling, as they are more tools to use on your path to self-knowledge and self-study. They tend to prefer more open-ended/less-specific questions, and provide an answer to the "most likely" future, based on your current path. Should you change the path you're on, the answer may no longer be applicable.
  • Why do I have to pay for a tarot reading, when you do free readings on your socials?
The free daily readings are generic and could be for anyone reading them, whilst the general readings are specific to you. Payment for the readings goes towards both the Dalmatian Treat Fund, and my book fund ;)
  • Why can't I buy a copy of "The Wonderful World of Australian Fossils" from you?
As it is an Australian Age of Dinosaurs publication, it can only be purchased from their website or museum shop, sorry!
  • What is Savannah Guides?
Savannah Guides were created as a networking opportunity and later high-standard for tour guides of the Australian Gulf savannahs, which now also includes savannah-adjacent areas. Known as protectors and interpretors of their regions, Savannah Guides are constantly expanding their understanding of the Australian environment. They are a passionate group of people who loves sharing knowledge, tips and tricks with other members, and anyone who will lend an ear for just one second, we promise! Professional developmental field schools are held twice a year at various locations around Australia, typically in locations close to SG accredited enterprises. (Some past schools have been held in Kakadu National Park, Canarvon Gorge, Adele's Grove, Alice Springs, Kununurra, Airlie Beach, the Savannahlander train, and on Ewamian Country.)
